There are two ways to get into Helena:

• Register to create a new tenant for your team. You become its Owner.
• Accept an invitation from someone who is already a member of a tenant. You join their tenant.

A Helena account belongs to exactly one tenant. If your team already uses Helena, ask a member to invite you instead of registering. Otherwise you will end up in a separate tenant of your own.

Register a new tenant

1. Go to app.helena.dev and choose Register.

2. Fill in the form:

   Field	Required	Notes
   Name	✅	Your full name.
   Email address	✅	Must not already have a Helena account, in any tenant.
   Password / Confirm password	✅
   Tenant name		Your team or company name. You can change it later in Tenant settings.
   Plan	When shown	If the plan picker is shown, choose a plan. You are then sent to a secure Stripe checkout page to subscribe. See Plans and billing.

3. Select Create account.

Helena creates your tenant and your account, makes you the Owner, and creates an environment called Default that is already selected for you.

Free trial

New tenants usually start on a free trial with no plan limits and no card required. A banner at the top of every page shows how many trial days are left. When the trial ends, you have a 7-day grace period to choose a plan before the tenant is locked.

Join with an invitation

1. Open the invitation link from your email, or the link a colleague shared with you.
2. Enter your Name and a Password.
3. Select Create account and join.

You are signed in to the tenant straight away. Your email address counts as verified, because you received the link. Your account starts in the tenant's oldest environment.

Message	What it means
Invitation expired	Invitations last 7 days. Ask a member to resend it.
Invalid invitation	The link has already been used, was revoked, or was replaced by a newer invitation.
